Glentauchers 8yo #13898 Bottling Note

From Douglas Laing's Provenance range comes an eight year old single malt distilled by Glentauchers! It was filled into a single butt cask back in June 2011 and left to age until February 2020, when it was bottled up at 46% ABV, with "Speyside Region" proudly emblazoned upon the label. Plus, a salmon! Just 423 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Powerfully malty, with a kick of orange zest in the background.

Palate: Orange and lemon notes move to the fore, with caramel and softly savoury oak.

Finish: Brown sugar, digestive biscuits, a touch of vanilla essence.
