Glentauchers 30 Year Old 1989 - Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing)
A very impressive single cask Glentauchers, distilled all the way back in 1989! It was filled into the cask and left there for three whole decades, until 2019. Once it reached the age of 30, Hunter Laing emptied the cask, yielding 172 bottles at 45.7% ABV for the Old & Rare bottling series.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
This golden whisky has a nose of apple crumble, caramel sauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Palate
The palate is fruity with oranges, honey, strawberry, and green tea.
Finish
The finish is long and powerful, with lingering pepper and spice.
