Another fabulously well-aged Glentauchers from Italian bottler Hidden Spirits! After it was distilled back in 1996, it spent over two decades in a single bourbon hogshead. It was bottled at 23 years of age in 2020, with a release of 162 bottles at 50.8% ABV.
Sandalwood, brown sugar, and fudge richness, with wafts of floral vanilla.
Green melon and tropical fruit sweetness at the core, with a burst of tart quince and sweeter caramel.
A spiced, woody finish.
