Bourbon
Gorgeous Glentauchers single malt, aged for 20 years in a pair of bourbon barrels. These casks were filled in July 1997 and cracked open in November 2017, resulting in 211 bottles being made for the Signatory Cask Strength Collection.
Flaky pastry and butterscotch. Underlying hints of apricot and pistachio ice cream.
Rich vanilla notes sit at the core of this one, backed up by juicy honeydew melon and dried oak.
A touch of salinity appears on the finish.
