Glentauchers 11 Year Old 2007 - North Star Spirits
A North Star Spirits bottling of 11 year old Glentauchers single malt, distilled back in April 2007. It was initially left to mature in a bourbon hogshead, but was treated to a finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez cask before being bottled in May 2018. Just 288 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeyed barley, Jamaican Ginger Cake, cocoa powder.
Palate
Heavy vanilla influence, with hints of apricot and cinnamon in support.
Finish
Soft touches of oak and orange zest.
