Wine-cask finished single malt from Glentauchers, independently bottled by North Star Spirits. This 10 year old whisky was distilled in march 2008 and initially matured in a refill hogs, until it was transferred over to a Bordeaux barrique, then bottled in September 2018. 315 bottles were produced.
Toffee apple, marzipan, seeded brown bread and a hint of waxy orange peel.
More bready notes up front, followed by marmalade and ripe plum.
Tiramisu, lemon peel and nutmeg.
