Glenrothes 30 Year Old 1989 (cask 14056) - Xtra Old Particular The Black Series (Douglas Laing) 70cl Whisky

This right here is a 30 year old single malt distilled by Glenrothes all the way back in May 1989, and left to age in a single butt cask. After three decades of rest, that cask was cracked open and the whisky was bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its Xtra Old Particular The Black Series range, which is reserved for only very special expressions (y'know, like this one). 478 bottles were produced.
