Glenlossie 19 Year Old 1997 (cask 12017) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
19 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenlossie, distilled in November 1997 and allowed to age in a refill hogshead until August 2017, when it was bottled for the Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. Only 140 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honey'd porridge, sawdust, a hint of citrus peel and peach. Butterscotch and red apples, with the faintest touch of white wine in the backdrop.
Palate
Sweet oranges and oily walnuts glazed in caramel, with cigar box and creamy vanilla underneath. Some buttered brown bread, baking spices and almonds percolate throughout.
Finish
Orange wine gums, honey roasted peanuts and soda bread .
