From Speyside's Glenlossie Distillery comes this glorious single malt, distilled in November 2006 and matured in a pair of bourbon barrels. The barrels remained sealed until April 2021, when the fine folks at Signatory cracked them open to release an outturn of 388 bottles, the whisky was kept at cask strength because this one is part of the Cask Strength Collection!
A nutty start with roasted almonds and toasted pecans, buttery pastry, toasted wood shavings, and vanilla fudge.
Peanut brittle, crunchy toffee, and some floral fruit notes balance sweet citrus, vanilla pod, and gently earthy oak.
Sweet and creamy, gentle barley spice, crisp apple, caramelised biscuits.
