Glenlossie 1961 Bottling Note

A rare bottling from Glenlossie, distilled in 1961 and bottled in 2007.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dark chocolate creates a sweet base on top of which stewed dark fruits are lain, followed by a few drops of rose water.

Palate: Smoky with a clear sherry presence that leads to raisins and sultanas.

Finish: The smoke lingers while the dried fruits begin to stew.

Overall: A well crafted whisky that has the delights of sherry cask ageing and the presence of peat.
