    A gorgeously dark, sherry-butt-matured Glenlivet, distilled in September 2001 and aged for 10 years before bottling in February 2012. A single cask release of just 387 bottles from the Douglas Laing Old Malt Cask range.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Sherried peels, cherries, chocolate, hints of sweet barley, black pepper and malt.

    Palate

    Sweet and creamy, notes of huge sherry, hints of Armagnac, prunes, plum wine, a little cinnamon and molasses.

    Finish

    Long and malty finish with sweet spices on the tail.
