A single cask Glengoyne bottled by Douglas Laing for the Single Minded range. This was aged for 8 years in a refill hogshead cask before being bottled at 43% ABV.
Honey'd malt and black pepper, with a few touches of brown bread.
Golden Syrup cake, cider apples and another kick of pepper.
Rather long indeed, with pancakes covered in syrup notes continuing for minutes afterwards.
