A Douglas Laing bottling of 21 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery, aged in a refill hogshead from December 1996 to February 2018. 211 bottles were produced, showing off an intriguingly caramel-y side of Glengoyne we don't often see (many of their official bottlings are more on the sherried side of things).
Honey-coated barley, butterscotch and Liquorice Allsorts.
Chocolate spread on soda bread, peppery crackers, toffee pennies and a touch of apple chutney.
Lemon curd, more caramel and a hint of raw cinnamon.
