Independent bottled Glengoyne, aged in a refill hogshead for 17 years! This was distilled in September 1997 and set aside until October 2014, when Hunter Laing came along and bottled it up for the Old Malt Cask range. 282 bottles were produced, with the whisky bottled at 50% ABV.
Elegant floral barley opens it up, with sugary white chocolate and lemon zest.
Vanilla and more lemon zest, now joined by luxurious caramel elements.
Biscuit-y and sweet.
