Description

A single cask Glengoyne selected by Hunter Laing for The First Editions range. Distilled in 2008, the Highland single malt matured for 15 years in refill hogshead #21164, allowing plenty of the distillery’s naturally fruity, unpeated character to remain front and centre.

Nose

Baked apples, pear drops, honeyed malt, and milk chocolate raisins, with vanilla fudge, lemon peel, and a little polished oak underneath.

Palate

Caramelised banana, vanilla ice cream, baked orchard fruit, and creamy toffee. Gentle cinnamon and nutmeg build alongside malt biscuits and a touch of citrus.

Finish

Apple, vanilla, warm spice, and a final flicker of milk chocolate.
