A 12 year old Glengoyne, independently bottled by those wonderful folks over at Douglas Laing! This was distilled in August 2005 and left to age in a hogshead cask for a dozen years until it was bottled in September 2017 with an outturn of 351 bottles.
Sodabread, salted butter and kumquat.
Vibrant citrus kicks things off, before moving into apple pie and poached pear. A light dusting of nutmeg gives it some spice.
Salted pretzels and honey-coated barley.
