Between 1986 and 2008, the Glenglassaugh distillery was silent, no whisky coming from it at all. Luckily, it's back open and the whisky flows once more! However, in an even luckier turn of events, this single cask release by Signatory was distilled long before that quiet period even happened!
That's right, this Glenglassaugh single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2013, making it 34 years ago! A very special release for Signatory's Cask Strength Collection, with only 249 bottles produced.
