This was distilled at the Glenglassaugh distillery on the 1st September 1979 before a 32 year maturation in hogshead number 1543. It was bottled in 2012 and comes from Signatory's Cask Strength Collection. A release of 255 numbered bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Melon and hints of citrus. Dried banana chips, barley malt and spice.
Palate
Spiced palate with hints of lemon curd. Peaches and cream, a little peppermint. Tangerine and a little praline.
Finish
Hazelnut and barley.
