A buttery, creamy whisky with quite some spice, this Glenfarclas Family Cask was a refill butt (cask number 61), distilled in 1977 and bottled on the 30th November 2006 as part of a release of 582 bottles.
Buttery. Honey on granary toast, gentle sherry, spice.
Honeycomb sweetness, spices, Sauternes, cereals, some creamy sherry.
Abrupt, but explosive, tingling oaky smoke, vanilla milkshake.
