This Family Cask bottling was distilled in 1970 and matured in single cask number 566, a sherry butt. A powerful, darkly fruity Glenfarclas which was bottled on the 28th February 2007 as part of a release of 497 bottles.
Rich, spicy. Thick, fruity malt loaf. Toasted cinnamon buns, rum. Stem ginger in syrup. Sherry, pepper.
Thick, chewy. Sherry. Fruit, ripe and lush. Rum spice. Pepper.
Spiced rum, heavy, buttery, oak, allspice.
