This was distilled in 1962 and matured in single cask number 2645, a sherry hogshead. The result is an almost rum-like whisky, released as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask collection.
Nose: Rich, almost smoky. Earthy and rich. Big oak, spices, vanilla.
Palate: Herbal and musty. Creamy, sherry, prune, spicy oak.
Finish: Smoke, aniseed. Port.
