This was matured in sherry butt number 1758. Distilled in 1956 and released in 2007 as part of the extensive Family Cask range from Glenfarclas.
Full and sumptuous. Rich and fruity, berry fruits, conserves, counterbalancing caramelised sugar, winter spice.
Firm. Sherry, sultanas, rum, nutty, oily. Walnut, hazelnut, meaty oak.
Dry, oaky, dark fruits.
