Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Hints of cigar leaves, cassis and a little biltong greet the nostrils. The nose develops with notes of toasted almond, pepper and maple spice.

Palate: A malty, rich whisky with notes of treacle, barrel char and fresh Oloroso. The palate pertains to sweetness with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and golden syrup, a little dried grape and walnut too.

Finish: Spiced and sweet, notes of lemon zest and orange peel, a little peppermint on the tail.
