A single cask Glendronach, aged for a whopping 33 years before bottling battling at natural cask strength. Batch six was distilled in 1978 and aged in cask 1068.
Nose: Huge deep, dark sherry notes on the nose. Hints of rancio, Armagnac, plum brandy and tangy damsons. Pepper and butterscotch build.
Palate: A mix of truffle oil and intense walnut notes, a coffee/caramel note develops, alongside juicy chocolate malt and port wine.
Finish: Berry fruits and spice. Very, very long.
