Glenburgie 8 Year Old 2007 (cask 11065) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

Independently bottled single malt from the Glenburgie distillery, well-known around MoM Towers for having loads of lovely berry notes. This was distilled in November 2007, aged in a refill hogshead and bottled in March 2016 by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Dusty oak, yellow plum and a touch of wine-like juiciness.

Palate

Yep - there's the strawberry notes! These are joined by vanilla ice cream and toffee.

Finish

Coconut ice, nougat and peanuts.
