Glenburgie 11 Year Old 2008 - Hepburn's Choice (Langside)
This Glenburgie single malt was independently bottled up by Langside! It was distilled in 2008 and matured in a single wine cask for just over a decade, until it was bottled at 11 years old in 2019. A limited outturn of 173 bottles were released at 46% ABV for the Hepburn's Choice range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Maltesars and orange peel, with strawberry sweeties and toffee. Stewed plums and fresh strawberries, with chocolatey malt hiding underneath. Some Turkish delight, too.
Palate
Buttery caramel, chocolate orange, a touch of cherry and toasty oak.
Finish
Orange marmalade and gingerbread.
