23 year old single malt from Glenallachie, matured in a single cask from October 1996 to December 2019 before being bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. As you can expect, this has been bottled at cask strength, a sturdy 54.6% ABV, with an outturn of only 201 bottles.
Orange zest, fresh pear and green apple. Roast chestnut richness develops in the glass.
Warm cherry and sultana, runny honey, a touch of gristy vanilla and hazelnut.
