Description

A vintage 1996 Glenallachie, which matured in a pair of hogsheads for just over two decades. The two casks were cracked open after 22 years had passed, and Signatory bottled the single malt in 2018 at 55.4% ABV for the Cask Strength Collection, with a release of 486 bottles.

Nose

Marzipan and cinnamon, floral malt and underripe pear.

Palate

Rich chocolate, toffee apple and fresh fruits toasted nuts.

Finish

Creamy vanilla and caramel with a pinch of dried herbs.
