This refill bourbon barrel-matured Glenallachie is a delicious Speyside malt from Gordon and MacPhail's popular Connoisseurs Choice range. It was distilled in 1999 and the bottlers describe it as "delicate and enjoyable".
Fresh, sweet, creamy aromas. Hints of vanilla, buttery malt and toasted oak. Manuka honey.
Fruity, floral palate with soft spice and sweet caramel. Black pepper, grist and lemon.
Long, sweet, malty finish.
Simple, creamy and very easy-going.
