Single Malt
Scotland
17 Oct 1996
19 Feb 2016
This is a 19 year old Glenallachie single malt, drawn from two casks that were filled in October 1996 and cracked open in February 2016. It was bottled by the fine folks at Signatory, a fantastic independent Scotch whisky bottler.
Vanilla fudge, honey'd barley and a touch of meaty malt.
Sponge cake, peanut brittle and baking spice (goes well with the sponge cake notes, doesn't it?).
Nutmeg and cinnamon last.

I have a bottle of this, from a previously released cask. Came back to post a very positive review and.... ...sold out. A 19 year old Speyside at this price? Get one.
