Well-sherried single malt from Glenallachie, independently bottled by Signatory for that ever-so-popular Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled in May 2008 and allowed to age in a first-fill sherry butt for 12 years. Following that, it was bottled in January 2021, with an outturn of 626 bottles.
Dense dark fruit and molasses, with a kick of fresh ginger.
Maple syrup on blueberry pancakes, nutmeg, walnut, raisin, cinnamon.
Spiced hot chocolate, toffee, ginger once again.
