Brought to us by indie bottler North Star Spirits, a superb single malt from Glenallachie. Distilled in 2012, the whisky spent its years resting in an oloroso sherry butt, yielding a total of 662 bottles when opened.
Toasted vanilla, burnt brown sugar, crème caramel, rich oak, and stewed stone fruits.
Hearty helpings of rich, biscuity malt are joined by bold, woody spice and waves of buttery toffee.
Big and bold right 'til the end, with robust spice, and heaps of sticky sweet sherried fruit.
