Drawn from a combo of Pedro Ximénez, oloroso, red wine, and new oak casks, it's bottled at cask strength, without added colour or chill filtration. Just look at that splendid hue!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coffee beans, cocoa, treacle toffee, and figs in syrup are joined by butterscotch, and cinnamon-dusted baked apples.
Palate
Floral honey, rich chocolate, cakey spice, hints of cranberry, and honeyed nuts.
Finish
Black Forest gâteau, a touch of liquorice, boozy cherries, roasted coffee.
