A single cask Glen Spey, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. This was distilled in December 1997 and filled into a refill hogshead to mature for 18 years, and was bottled in September 2016 with an outturn of 328 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Juicy tropical fruit and apple crumble, with a touch of basil leaf.
Palate
Oak warmth begins to develop on the palate, with lingering pear and blueberry.
Finish
Malty and sweet.
