Glen Spey 16 Year Old 1999 - Spirit of Stirling Festival 2015 (Douglas Laing) 70cl Whisky

From Glen Spey comes this single malt, distilled in January 1999. It was left in a single refill hogshead for the following 16 years, until it was bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range in February 2015. This isn't just any ordinary bottling though, the Speysider was released specially for the Spirit of Stirling Whisky Festival in 2015. Only a limited 120 bottles were yielded from the cask, bottled 48.4% ABV.
