An indie Glen Spey single malt, bottled up by North Star Spirits! This one was distilled by Glen Spey back in 2006, and was initially matured in a refill hogshead, before being finished in an Oloroso sherry cask. It was then bottled up in 2020, with an outturn of 247 bottles, presented at cask strength.
Papaya, cardamom, juicy barley and buttered malt loaf.
Quite nutty, with almond, hazelnut and chocolate peanut all making an appearance.
Strawberry laces and a hint of pepper.
