Description

This indie single malt was distilled in September 2007 over at Glen Ord in the Highlands. It slumbered in a pair of hogsheads for 12 years, until Signatory emptied the casks in February 2020, releasing the whisky as part of its Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

Nose

Buttered toast, lemon curd and croissant, with hints of peppery oak.

Palate

Apple blossom, white flowers and more pastries alongside toasty oak.

Finish

Dried apricot and green oak.

Great single malt and worth the wait.

Lovely honey smooth and peppery after taste that lingers like a decent malt should. I’m no expert and like what I like and I love this on will order many more bottles to savour.
