Distilled in November 2007 at the Glen Moray distillery, this single malt Scotch whisky was filled from a single bourbon hogshead in September 2017 into 240 bottles at cask-strength by North Star Spirits, independent bottlers based in Glasgow.
Through chocolate raisins, sticky barley and black treacle comes Parma Violets and some raspberry.
Orange oil, dark chocolate and vanilla essence carry over the sweetness from the nose. Blueberry jam develops a sour edge.
The sourness dissipates and sweet strawberries remain.
