All the way from Glen Moray comes a 23 year old single malt, bottled up by The Whisky Cellar. This one was distilled in November 1996 and eventually bottled in August 2020, with only 115 bottles produced. A smashing Speysider, this.
Floral at first with citrus blossom and violet, before a helping of caramel shortbread and apple crumble appears.
Enjoyably buttery on the palate, now with pear, cinnamon and pecan in support.
Chocolate biscuits, maple syrup and a hint of milky tea.
