Grab yourself a grand bottling of Glen Moray single malt, with this independent release from Hunter Laing. Distilled in 2007, this expression was matured for 15 years in a single refill hogshead, which finally yielded a total of 214 bottles when it was opened in 2022. Released as part of Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask series.
Buttery fruit pastries and sweet, nutty nougat, with a touch of liquorice and dry oak.
A host of warming cinnamon, anise, and gentle pepper are kept in check by fresh vanilla pod and milky coffee.
Butterscotch, poached peach, and a touch of charred marshmallow keep things sweet.
