Smashing single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Moray Distillery, independently bottled by Whisky Cellar as part of its third series of releases. This one was distilled back in 2005 and aged in an ex-bourbon barrel for 15 years before being bottled in 2021, producing only 182 bottles. Wonderfully creamy and vanilla-forward stuff.
Toasted marshmallow, vanilla ice cream, a hint of waxy apple.
Honeyed cereals and milky coffee. A touch of anise and cinnamon spiciness, but vanilla mellows it all out.
Caramelised nuts and banana fritters.
