Glen Moray single malt matured for 15 years in a refill bourbon barrel, before ebing bottled by Douglas Laing. This whisky began its life in September 2003, when it was filled into barrel #12802 and left to slumber until September 2018, when it was cracked open and bottled for the Old Particular range. 298 bottles were produced.
Flaky pastries, slightly vegetal at points, a hint of menthol.
Chocolatey notes begin to take shape on the palate, alongside more mint and some citrus freshness.
Oak, vanilla pod and brown sugar.
