Glen Moray 15 Year Old 2003 (cask 12802) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Glen Moray single malt matured for 15 years in a refill bourbon barrel, before ebing bottled by Douglas Laing. This whisky began its life in September 2003, when it was filled into barrel #12802 and left to slumber until September 2018, when it was cracked open and bottled for the Old Particular range. 298 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Flaky pastries, slightly vegetal at points, a hint of menthol.
Palate
Chocolatey notes begin to take shape on the palate, alongside more mint and some citrus freshness.
Finish
Oak, vanilla pod and brown sugar.
