Bourbon
Single cask Glen Moray single malt here, presented by the House of MacDuff for its range The Golden Cask. The Speyside Scotch whisky was distilled in October of 2008 and matured for 14 years in a bourbon barrel (cask CM304) before it was bottled up in April 2023 at 54.1% ABV with an outturn of 220 bottles.
Orchard fruit, desiccated coconut, vanilla, and cinnamon.
Treacle and red apples lead with ginger, custard, and a little mango in support.
Drying with baking spice and earthy vanilla.
