A 23 year old Glen Keith single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by the ever-excellent Signatory. This one was distilled in May 1997 and left to age in a single hogshead cask for 23 years. In November 2020, the cask was cracked open and the whisky was bottled up at 54% ABV for the Cask Strength Collection, with an outturn of 252 bottles.
Frosties with milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, sponge cake, and strawberry jam.
Nutty barley with loads of vanilla and honey. Slowly, kitchen spices and drying oak begin to dominate the palate, with a smidge of apricot bringing welcome sweetness.
Apricot continues, alongside green apple and buttercream.
