Glen Keith 21 Year Old 1996 (cask 12575) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
The Old Particular range grown one larger with the introduction of this 21 year old Glen Keith single malt. The whisky was distilled in August 1996 and left to mature in a refill butt until May 2018. Following that, Douglas Laing bottled up the whisky at 51.5% ABV, producing just 244 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apricots, dates and dried oak. Hints of lemon drizzle cake underneath.
Palate
Clove and peppercorn heat up front, tempered by waves of honey, milk chocolate and raisin.
Finish
Currant buns, butter and more chocolate.
