    One of 268 bottles from a brandy-finished butt, distilled at Glen Grant in April in 1975 and matured for 36 years before bottling in 2011 for Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Malty and spiced with notes of aniseed, soft spices and rosewater. Cranberries and sherried peels, a little sultana.

    Palate

    Dried fruit, bitter oak, toffee brittle, dried barley, manuka honey and plum wine.

    Finish

    Long and musty, bitter charred oak and damson gin.
