An independently bottled Glen Grant single malt Scotch whisky, distilled back in May 1995 and filled into a pair of bourbon barrels. After 24 years in said barrels, it was bottled up in March 2020 by Signatory as part of the Cask Strength Collection. A release of 408 bottles.
Buttery malt with hints of peach and pear mixed in. A slow build of subtle cedar spice after a few minutes in the glass.
Caramelised nuts, citrus peels, toasted cedar, brown sugar, a hint of cider.
Grilled tropical fruit and a few hints of walnut later on.
