An independent bottling of Glen Grant single malt Scotch whisky, drawn from a pair of bourbon barrels which were filled in May 1995 and cracked open in September 2016. This was bottled by the fine folks at Signatory.
Nutty malt (think almonds and walnuts with a grassy hint of vanilla), and a helping of clotted cream.
Fruit notes start to reveal themselves - pear and plum, with a few white grapes too. Still robustly malty.
Truffle richness and some drying cacao.
