This was distilled at the Glen Grant distillery on the 22nd April 1992 before a 20 year maturation in a pair of hogsheads (numbers 55412 and 55413). It was bottled at natural cask strength in October 2012. This is a release of 454 numbered bottles from Signatory's Cask Strength Collection.
Notes of sweet cereals and hints of sherry. A touch of truffle, chocolate, cocoa butter and dried peels. Sultanas.
Orange peel and notes of marmalade. A little plum wine, gingerbread and a hint of menthol. Malty core, with notes of spice developing.
Long, fruity finish. Kiwi and chocolate raisins.
