This was distilled at Glen Grant in October 1993 before an 18 year maturation in a refill hogshead before bottling in January 2012 for the Douglas Laing Old Malt Cask range. A release of 311 bottles.
Sweet malt and wine gums, cherries, vanilla and grist. A little porridge with warm honey and hot milk.
Fruity and spiced, with cinnamon, boiled sweets, rum spices, oak and apple crumble with hot custard.
Long and sweet, vanilla and spiced, orange zest.
