This was distilled at Glen Grant in October 1993 before an 18 year maturation in a refill hogshead before bottling in January 2012 for the Douglas Laing Old Malt Cask range. A release of 311 bottles.
Nose: Sweet malt and wine gums, cherries, vanilla and grist. A little porridge with warm honey and hot milk.
Palate: Fruity and spiced, with cinnamon, boiled sweets, rum spices, oak and apple crumble with hot custard.
Finish: Long and sweet, vanilla and spiced, orange zest.
